BRIEF HISTORY
The Congrégation de Soeurs de Saint-Joseph-de-Saint-Hyacinthe was founded in Saint-Hyacinthe by local woman Élisabeth Bergeron in 1877. The mission of the Soeurs de Saint-Joseph-de-Saint-Hyacinthe has always been especially focused on teaching.
They have operated across a vast territory including Canada, the United States, Haiti, Senegal, Chad, Lesotho, and Brazil.

DESCRIPTION OF FONDS AND COLLECTIONS
We are a very small archives centre.
We have no digital records.
We have the personal files of the nuns and several documents concerning the houses where we have worked.
We also have archives related to the general administration.
