Concerns around a modern church

Heritage groups are concerned about the fate of Saint-Gérard-Majella Church in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, which is at the heart of a residential construction site and which could be converted into a bowling alley. The accumulation of water at the site makes them fear for the integrity of the building, a modern church deemed remarkable that was saved from demolition in 2016.
